Wildwood Trail Marathon

  • LaSalle Springs Middle School 3300 Missouri 109 Wildwood, MO, 63038 United States (map)

The Green House Healthy Team will have athletes competing in the Wildwood Trail Marathon!

The Wildwood Trail Marathon starts on the asphalt Hamilton-Carr Trail which takes runners to the chat surfaced Al Foster Memorial Trail. The Al Foster Memorial Trail will take marathoners to the Bluff View Trail, where they will climb to the bluff that gives the trail its name!
After leaving the first aid station on the course, runners will proceed back down the Bluff View Trail and spend a number of gorgeous miles running the entire Rock Hollow Trail. Racers will then leave the Rock Hollow Trail and run the entire length of the Al Foster Memorial Trail to the Sherman Beach Trailhead. From Sherman Beach, runners will take a connector trail to the Cedar Bluff Trail, and return to Sherman Beach on the Stinging Nettle Trail. Once reaching Sherman Beach for the last time, competitors will travel on the Al Foster Memorial Trail  and Hamilton-Carr Trail to the finish of the Marathon at LaSalle Spring Middle School.

Elevation Gain approx. 1500ft!

Please Note: THIS IS A TRAIL MARATHON AND NOT YOUR ROAD 26.2 SO YOU WILL BE RUNNING 26.2-ISH MILES.
No Wimps, No Whining!

Course Map

***It is the athlete’s responsibility to know the course. While we mark the course to the best of our ability with signs, flour, volunteers, etc., in the end it becomes the athlete’s responsibility to know the course, based on the maps provided. We are not responsible for course sabotage or non-race personnel misdirecting athletes. And if you follow a pack of runners and know it’s the wrong way, don’t follow them. If there are any official course changes, a revised map will be posted on the website prior to the event AND announced at the race prior to the start***

FINISH-LINE BRACELETS (for non-runners & non-volunteers): Anyone eating or drinking needs to have a finish-line bracelet on the day they're otherwise running/volunteering. We will have finish-line bracelets for sale at the merch table on race-day ($5 - CASH ONLY) if you didn't already pre-purchase them via UltraSignup. If you aren't a registered runner or volunteer, pre-purchasing a bracelet online helps us better plan when we're purchasing items for the finish-line food and beer. $5 isn't very much for food and beer, but it helps cover our extra food and drink costs for spectators, and in turn helps us keep race costs down. It also helps ensure that we have food and drinks available for the last finishers and last volunteers back to the finish line.
